Sarn Helen 4×4 Tour
Join my Wild Wales 4×4 Adventure Tour in Mid Wales including Sarn Helen, which is only open for a limited time each year (1st June to 21st August).
A day of moderate to technical 4x4 green lanes.
£120 inc vat per vehicle per day.
We will be driving along Sarn Helen from Neath, with a moderate to challenging selection of green lanes in South Wales.
Friday 24th July 2026 – Wild Wales Explorer tour including Sarn Helen.
Meet at 09:45hrs near Neath for a welcome, introduction and safety briefing.
Our first trail s Sarn Helen which takes us north towards Glyn-Neath, before heading into the South Wales Valleys. We aim to finish the day around 16:00hrs.

Routes are classed as moderate to technical – Suitable for vehicles with low range and minimum All Terrain tyres. Ask if you’re not sure about suitability. This route may not be not suitable for novice drivers.
Led by an experienced and qualified 4×4 instructor.
Excellent local knowledge.
Fully equipped support/lead vehicle.
Vehicle diagnostics equipment for a wide variety of vehicles
Garmin InReach gps beacon
PMR / CB radios are supplied for the tour.
Suitable for individuals, couples, groups and families.
All of my tours are dog friendly (dogs must be kept on lead on most routes).
We stop in the wilderness for lunch, so packed lunches are required daily.
This is a 4×4 adventure, so light scratching or damage may be caused to vehicles, e.g. alloy wheels, paintwork, etc. NOT SUITABLE FOR ‘SHINY’ VEHICLES
