Wild Voices Salon : Cherry Hill, NJ
About this Event
I have this wild dream.
To spend six weeks driving across the country, gathering friends + strangers in living rooms.
To remind ourselves what matters and tune into the poetry of this one precious life.
To remember that connection starts with conversation. With community. With us.
In the past, salons have gathered all kinds of people together around art, ideas, expression, and community.
It feels like time to bring that tradition back.
I'm a writer, spoken word poet, creative facilitator, and the author of Where the Wild Woman Grows. And I’m currently editing my 2nd book!
For over a decade I've been creating spaces where women feel safe enough to look inwards, tell the truth, laugh about the absurdity that is being human today, cry just because, own exactly who they are - and remember the magic that happens when we gather, witness, and be ourselves together.
Join me and my dear friend + amazing hostess Galit for a magical evening to lounge in the lyricals, hear some spoken word surprises, and have space for your voices too.
Event is donation based, and proceeds will go to support the Wild Voices Tour.
Book and handmade art will be available for sale.
Wine + treats will be served.
Doors open: 8:00pm
Mic opens: 8:30pm.
Can't wait to see you!

"Zo creates salons and experieces that are trancendent and magical. By her moving words, she makes you feel, contemplate, connect, and disconnect, all at once. You leave somehow more present, more open, and more alive. Every experience she creates feels itimate and expansive." JGOLDIS
MEET ZO
Zo Flamenbaum is a writer, poet + seasoned facilitator who has spent more than a decade bringing people together for the kinds of conversations we don’t have nearly enough.
She’s guided hundreds of workshops, circles + retreats designed to get people out of their heads, into their bodies + closer to their own voices. She’s the founder of School of Shine, a women’s self-development community that organically grew to more than 8,000 members, and the author of Where the Wild Woman Grows, her debut collection of not-ya-average poetry.
Born in Israel, raised in the Atlantic City area + based in Tel Aviv for the past 15 years, Zo is endlessly curious about what makes us who we are, what keeps us from fully expressing it + what becomes possible when we do.
This fall, she’s taking WILD VOICES on the road for the first time, bringing her work off the page + into rooms across the U.S.
