Wild School Day & Year-End Food Share — Elk Island ParkThis is an open, drop-in day. Come for part of it or stay all day.
From 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, we’ll have FUN Wild School activities happening throughout the day, including nature crafts and a scavenger hunt. There will be planned activities for younger children (Grade 1 and under), as well as adventures for Grades 2–8.
If you’d like to help with crafts or adventures, leave a comment. We’re very open to sharing the planning and running of activities with other parents in the collective — this is a shared day, and it works best when we build it together.
FOOD:
Lunch and snacks are BYO during the day.
From 4:00–6:00 PM, we’ll gather for a year-end food share to close out the day together. Please bring a favourite dish your family enjoys (a single item, a dessert, or a pot) to share.

Please let us know what you plan to bring so we can make sure we have enough food and a good mix for everyone. Also, let us know if there are any allergies so we can plan accordingly. Please plan to include the list of ingredients for your dish.
A $5–$10 per family contribution is appreciated to help offset costs, but is not required.
We’re looking forward to ending the year outside, learning, connecting, and sharing a meal together.
