Come as you are. Bring your questions, your weariness, your wonder.Wind From The Sea is a monthly gathering for fellowship and communion in the great outdoors — part of the Wild Church Network, an affiliation of congregations across North America that meet outdoors to experience the divine in the natural world. Our gatherings draw on the work of Victoria Loorz and the Centre for Wild Spirituality, rooted in the conviction that we are part of an alive and holy web of interconnection — and that remembering our place within it is an ancient and sacred practice.
Each gathering follows a gentle liturgy: we open in circle with introductions, offer a blessing and gratitude for the land, share a reading or teaching, and then disperse into a 20–40 minute holy wander — a solo, silent time of reverent beholding, stepping intentionally into the world as it actually is: interconnected and sacred. Afterward, we gather again for tea and reflection, and close with a poem and benediction.
This is more than a novel way to do church outside. Expanding beyond religious and institutional boundaries, it is an invitation to rewild your spirituality, whatever your spiritual heritage.
All are welcome — the curious, the seeking, the spiritually homeless, and the deeply rooted alike.
Wind From The Sea is facilitated by Natasha Brubaker, an Anglican priest, and Amy Sedgwick, a mental health therapist trained in ecospirituality.
No experience necessary. Dress for the weather.
