It's been a fabulous year of Wild Rambling holidays, but they are all finished now for 2024, and the next one isn't for another five months. Sad face.Never fear, the very wonderful Sarah Brown and I have a cunning plan!
How do you fancy a long weekend in the National Forest in Derbyshire, filled with winter walks, rejuvenating Pilates sessions, and scrummy food?
We'll be staying at the newly built YHA National Forest Hostel, near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, where all the rooms are ensuite and can be taken as single occupancy, or can be shared with a friend.
It's a short break - Friday to Monday - but we will cram in two full days of lovely walking in the local area (with me, and maybe a second guide if there is enough interest), and optional Pilates sessions if you want them with Sarah. All meals are included
We'll be keeping the cost as low as possible, to allow you to treat yourself to an extra break, but we offer gift vouchers, so you can get your friends and family to club together and buy you some for Christmas to go towards it!
