About this Event
As winter softens into spring, the earth teaches us a profound lesson: renewal is always possible. In a time when the weight of the world can feel overwhelming, we need spaces to remember what nourishes us, to experience the radical healing power of joy and wonder, and to feel our deep belonging to the more-than-human world.
This workshop is a celebration—a recognition that tending to our own vitality, cultivating delight, and experiencing our profound interconnection with nature isn't separate from "the work" of creating change. It is a vital part of the work.
Spring invites us into this awakening through direct, embodied experience of the living world.
WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE
🌱 Spring as Medicine & Teacher: Move beyond experiencing spring as mere metaphor and meet it as healer and guide. Through nature immersion practices, attune to the rhythms of renewal surrounding you and discover what the season has to offer your weary heart.
🌸 Joy & Wonder as Healing Practice: In a culture that often treats pleasure and delight as frivolous, reclaim joy as essential medicine. Through practices of sensory awakening and embodied presence, explore how wonder itself can be a form of resistance and restoration.
🌿 Remembering Our Belonging: Practice experiencing yourself not as separate observer but as participant in the web of life—kin to the trees, the soil, the birds, the wind. This remembering of your place in the living world is both deeply healing and profoundly activating.
💚 Nourishment as Sacred Work: In times of crisis, our culture often demands we sacrifice our wellbeing for the cause. Yet sustainable engagement requires that we're deeply nourished—in body, heart, and spirit. Explore practices for replenishment that honor both your humanity and your commitment to the world.
🌎 From Gratitude to Action: Drawing from frameworks that have supported thousands in transforming despair into purpose, discover how joy, creativity, and deep connection fuel your capacity for meaningful engagement with our world's challenges.

YOUR FACILITATOR
Kyyio is a nature-based workshop facilitator specializing in programs that combine mindfulness, somatic practices, and environmental connection. A NOTE FROM KYYIO
In a world that often demands we choose between tending to ourselves or tending to the world, I've discovered another way: practices that nourish us personally while simultaneously deepening our capacity to serve. This workshop emerges from my own embodied understanding that experiencing joy in the natural world, cultivating wonder, and feeling our deep belonging are essential medicines for these times.
Spring arrives each year as a radical act of hope, demonstrating that renewal is woven into the very fabric of existence. Join me as we receive spring's medicine together and remember our place in the beautiful, broken, still-becoming world.
