Wild in the Meadows: Family pond dip & adventure walk (Trumpington Meadows)

This is part of a series of activities for families throughout the year on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve.

In this session, join Becca Badger for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We'll walk to the pond (it's about half a mile from the Ranger's Office) doing silly challenges along the way, then spend some time pond dipping before strolling back. You'll be amazed at what we find in the pond; it's as exciting for adults as it is for children!

This session is perfect for ages 7-11. Older children will also enjoy the activity. It is not suitable for children under 5 for health and safety reasons. You are welcome to bring pre-walking babies in a buggy or sling.

• These are family sessions so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy.
• Adults and siblings under 12 months who are accompanying a paid-for child are free
• There are no toilet facilities available for this session.
