Join April Punsalan the founder of Wild Herb Academy for a workshop Sunday Oct. 5 at 2 pm. In order to register visit https://wildherbevents.com/service. Registration does not include park admission which will be $3 per person. April was a former botanist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, who spent years protecting rare and endangered plants—only to realize that the greatest threat wasn’t just habitat loss. It was our disconnection.

For the past 28 years, she has walked the path of the herbalist—studying, foraging, listening, and making medicine with the wild plants that surround us. These plants have been her teachers, her allies, and her deepest source of healing.
