Join us for an engaging and educational celebration of Native American heritage! This special event is designed for schools, homeschoolers, and educators, featuring interactive demonstrations, storytelling, and performances that bring Native traditions to life.
Featured Demonstrations & Performances:
- Basket Weaving – Explore traditional weaving techniques using natural materials.
- Cherokee Language & Storytelling – Learn about the importance of Native languages and storytelling.
- Regalia Making - Learn about Native American regalia and what certain pieces represent
- Traditional Pottery – Watch live demonstrations of Native pottery-making techniques.
- Jewelry Making - Learn about Native American traditional Jewelry Making from seed bead earrings to bone bead bracelets.
- Traditional Drumming & Dance – Experience drumming and cultural dances
- Historic Horse Breeds – Discover the significance of South Carolina’s rare and historic Marsh Tacky horse and how they were utilized by the Wassamasaw Tribe
- Cultural Food Experience - Try our delicious Frybread and learn about its history and why it represents resilience.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for students and educators to immerse themselves in Native American culture through live demonstrations, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Open to all ages!
