Join Andrea Fox from Elemental Journeys to explore and connect with the forest in honor of Earth Days. All ages welcome!Expect wilderness awareness games and moments of introspection while exploring the old growth and hidden treasures of Mountain Station.
Save the date ▶️ SUNDAY APRIL 12th, 2026 ◀️ We will meet at the parking lot at the intersection of Cherry and Gore Street at 1pm and walk until 3:30pm.
Please wear appropriate footwear and bring layers/water. Be ready to walk, hike up small hills, and/or stop for different activities.
Please reach out if mobility or accessibility is a barrier!
The event is free, but donations are welcome to help support environmental initiatives in the area 🙂

As a certified nature-based therapist, environmental activist, outdoor educator, and wilderness guide, Andrea Fox brings curiosity and play to every exploration. Grounded, while allowing flow, they share and integrate different practices that stem from their professional studies, personal experiences, and whatever might emerge in the moment as a synchronistic opportunity.
With Elemental Journeys (circa 2022), they offer youth programs, primal skills workshops, adult wilderness retreats, deep ecology strategies, and one-on-one counselling sessions in the area of Nelson BC.
Other upcoming events include a Primal Skills Campout near Nelson, BC (June 5-7th) and workshops for the Kootenay Wellness Festival (June 13-14th)
