THE DETAILS:
This Experience will offer a unique combination of foraging and mindful wandering.
The Foraging Experience will be led Gary Snyder, certified PA Master Naturalist. We will learn about foraging for the edible plants 🌿 found in the natural world all around us. What surprises will we find with our next step?
While we forage for wild edibles with Gary, Kripalu certified Mindful Outdoor Guide & Sylvotherapist Chuck Thomas of ChuckWalks will be inviting folks to practice nature-based mindfulness techniques as we wander together on the grounds of Shelter House.
Our time together will conclude with a special sit spot practice and Forest Tea Ceremony, brewed on site using items foraged from the wilds of the land. 🍵🫖
The intention is for us to be present with Nature and learn about the old ways of foraging and Nature connection. This will help strengthen our bond with the more-than-human world, allow us to disconnect from our digital world & rejuvenate our bodies, minds and souls.
Let's spend time settling in, focusing on our senses & really connecting with each other and Mother Nature 🌳😁 while we learn about Foraging for wild edible plants.
Are you willing to explore your senses & trust Nature to be your guide?
If so, join us. 💚
