Wild Blue Yonder, from Knoxville, serves up a rootsy blend of Appalachian original, “Folk-grass” and Celtic music, honoring the rich traditions of our region. Warm harmonies, mandolin, banjo, guitar and percussion shine on fresh acoustic arrangements. The group has performed professionally for 26 years across East Tennessee, Kentucky, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina, and has produced three independent CDs.
