Calling all young adventurers aged 5 to 11!

This half term, let your children immerse themselves in a day of wild, wonderful, and unforgettable outdoor fun at our Wild at Heart Forest School session!

📅 Date: Tuesday 18th February
🕘 Time: 10 to 2pm
📍 Location: Acorn Woods, our private woodland, Bersted Park, Bognor Regis

🌟 Bushcraft Adventures – Learn survival skills like den building, fire lighting and tool use.
🎨 Creative Crafting – Nature-inspired art and crafts to spark imagination.
🕵️ Nature Explorers – Scavenger hunts, bug spotting, and exploration.
🍂 Mindful Moments – Connect with nature in our beautiful and peaceful woodland.
🔥 Campfire Fun – Tasty treats and hot chocolate around the fire.

FAQ's

Where is Acorn Wood? A private fenced woodland, situated adjacent to the Bersted Park estate, behind the Community Centre.

Meeting Point: Bersted Park Community Centre, Lakeland Avenue, Bognor Regis, PO21 5FF. Acorn Wood is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Toilets? Yes

What to bring along and wear:

• A packed lunch with a refillable/filled water bottle
• Weather appropriate clothes and footwear for outdoor environments.
• Waterproofs worn or in a bag.

My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. If you would like to discuss any food allergies or other requirements further please do get in touch.

Cancellation and refund policy: If you are unable to attend due to any reason, including Covid, unfortunately we will not be able to offer a refund. If in the unfortunate event we are unable to run the session due to any reason we will issue everyone with a full a refund.

What happens if the weather is bad? We will continue the session in most weathers, with shelters to offer protection from rain situated in the woodlands. If we need to cancel the session due to weather warnings we will offer everyone a refund.

Your information and how we use it: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
