Inspired by the classic country hall tours of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean—and following in the footsteps of modern trailblazers like Fanny Lumsden and the Festival of Small Halls—Wicker Suite is heading into the heart of rural Australia bringing their music stories and warmth to the halls that once formed the lifeblood of the community.

Wicker Suite is one of the most exciting new acts in Australian country-roots. Together New Zealand singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Liam Kennedy-Clark and Australian award-winning fiddle player Gabi Louise have quickly become known for their distinctive blend of country bluegrass and folk—earning two Golden Guitar Awards and charting in the Country Music ARIA Top 20 with their 2024 debut album This Is Wicker Suite.
