Get into the Halloween spirit with the Wicked Spooky 5k & Creepy Crawly Climb on Saturday, October 31, 2026! This race starts and finishes at Wicked W**d’s Funkatorium on the South Slope of Downtown Asheville. The race starts at 9AM in the South Slope. Show off your most creative, terrifying, or quirky costume for a chance to win great prizes. Whether you’re a spooky monster, a mystical creature, or a pop culture icon, this is your chance to shine!
*New in 2026* We’ve added a kid’s Creepy Crawly Climb! The climb starts/finishes in the same location as the 5k on Coxe Avenue. The course goes up to the intersection of Coxe & Hillard (closed to traffic) and back down. It’s approximately .25 mile. Creepy Crawler registration is a flat fee of $10 and receive a Finisher medal. You can add on a race shirt for $20 during check out.
Raise your spirits (pun intended) with a delicious craft beer from Wicked W**d included in registration for those 21+ (must be able to show valid ID.) Finisher medal and a Wicked Spooky commemorative t shirt is also included in registration.
