Wicked Problems Student Consultancy - Session 2

Tackle a real challenge, meet new people and build a solution from scratch. No idea or experience needed – just bring your curiosity!
About this Event

The Wicked Problems Consultancy @ UCD brings students together to tackle real, complex challenges facing UCD and wider society.

You don’t need any previous experience, specialist knowledge or a solution already in mind. And you won’t be left to figure it out alone. Teams will be supported throughout the programme with structured sessions, industry mentors, tools, expert input and opportunities to test and develop their ideas.

In Trimester 2, teams will come back together for a showcase of the solutions they’ve worked on. You’ll have the opportunity to present what you’ve created, see how other teams tackled their challenges — and compete for a cash prize for the winning solution. Your solution might even form the basis of a real-life working solution that can help improve lives!

The goal isn’t to solve an enormous problem overnight. It’s to find a part of it where your team can make a real difference — and build something real.
