Get ready for a murder mystery weekend packed with screams, shots, poisons and murder and plenty of suspects too.
Every year the former students and staff of the McLean School For Girls celebrate the founding of the school. This year is a special year as the school celebrates 100 years on this Founders Day. Special guests, notable alumni and all past students and their friends and families have been invited to dress up in 1920s style to make the party go with a bang.
But when murder comes to call you’ll need to step in to work out whodunit...if you can.
Our murder mystery weekend takes place over two nights on Friday 24th January 2025 and Saturday 25th January 2025 with two nights in the Orton Hall Hotel in Peterborough.
The fun starts with the Founders Day party on Friday 24th January from 7pm and continues on the Saturday as the suspects are available to be questioned throughout the afternoon. You can enjoy a delicious cream tea during the afternoon and investigate a crime scene before further investigations during Saturday evening with a buffet and more action and evidence from the suspects and a confession.

Included in your weekend is bed and breakfast for two nights, a three course meal on Friday, a cream tea on Saturday afternoon and a buffet on Saturday evening. Checkout is at 11am on Sunday 26th January 2025 and our suspects will be there to wave you off.
Tickets are per person and based on two people sharing a double or twin room. There is the option to upgrade to a heritage room for an additional £30 but rooms are limited. Single occupancy rooms are also available at an additional cost.
This is a murder mystery weekend not to be missed with our ever popular actors ready to draw you into the story and surprise you along the way.
Minimum age 16+ and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
You can choose to pay a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your place with full payment required by Friday November 15th.
