At Wichita Habitat for Humanity (WHFH), we believe everyone deserves a decent life, filled with strength, stability, and the power to shape their own future through homeownership. Our Women Build empowers women by providing them with the tools and support to build homes and brighter futures for themselves and their families.
Since becoming an official Habitat for Humanity affiliate in October 1986, Wichita Habitat for Humanity has partnered with over 200 families. These partnerships involve community members working alongside volunteers to build their own homes. Homeowners then purchase these homes through an affordable mortgage, laying the groundwork for a more secure and prosperous future for themselves and their loved ones. Through shelter, we empower families, providing them the resources to build healthy, successful lives.
