Join the Leiden Regional Network of WIA-E for a special summer evening while we sail on a boat ride on the beautiful canals of Leiden! ⛵️✨
🛶 Boat Ride & Mentoring Talk
🗓️ Date: Friday 19th of June from 18:30 to 19:30 (arrive 15 min before departure)
📍 Boarding Location: Apothekersdijk 5, 2312 DD Leiden (The harbor office of Stichting De Leidse Rederij)
Step aboard with us for an hour of relaxing cruising and meaningful connection. During our boat ride, we will have an interview and open discussion with Soultana(Tania) Ellinidou around mentorship, career growth, and navigating challenges as a woman in tech/space. 💫
Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes early — we gather at 18:15 and sail strictly at 18:30. The boat cannot wait for late arrivals.
🍹 Onboard Refreshments
We will arrange for some drinks and snacks on board, which are fully included in your ticket price! If you wish to bring your own favorite snacks or drinks along for the trip, you are more than welcome to do so. 🥂🧀
📝 How to Register
Our boat has a maximum capacity of 24 people. To ensure accurate numbers and prevent last-minute cancellations, we are asking for a symbolic registration fee of €5.

🍽️ After-Sail Drinks & Dinner
Right after we disembark at 19:30, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for relaxed drinks, dinner, and good conversations! ✨
We will arrange the restaurant reservation for afterwards, and participants are kindly asked to cover the cost of their own food and drinks at the venue. 🍽️🍷
