This reception gives you the opportunity to network with other like-minded people from New Braunfels and surrounding communities.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Bob Lawson, the Director of the Bridwell Institute for Economic Freedom at SMU. Bridwell conducts research on economic freedom at the national, state and metro area levels, and correlates it to economic success (spoiler alert: the correlation is high).
Dr. Lawson is also the co-author of "Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World".
This event is co-sponsored by the Bridwell Institute for Economic Freedom, Southern Methodist University, New Braunfels Council Condensed, and the Libertarian Party of Comal County.
