Simon Doe, is an experienced engineer with a strong background in technical and managerial roles across sectors including defence, automotive, mineral processing, and medical devices. He joined Weld Australia as Director of Engineering in 2025 and previously managed the Australian National Fabrication Facility, providing leadership and strategic direction. Simon’s career encompasses product development, senior research positions, and work with the UK’s Atomic Weapons Establishment, and he holds multiple professional qualifications, including International Welding Engineer and Chartered Engineer status.
