Why Do We Need to Talk to Young Men About Nature

Young men are often portrayed as disconnected from nature, climate action and environmental care - yet they are among the people most likely to be left out of conversations about how we build greener communities. Drawing on work with young men through Birds, Bees, Bikes and Trees, a National Lottery Climate Action Fund project, this talk asks what might happen if we stopped seeing young men as a problem to be solved and instead created opportunities for them to become active participants in ecological care.
