About this Event
About the Class: This class focuses on using the CAD framework—Confession, Accusation, and Discovery—to build stronger on-stage relationships, break routines, and avoid getting stuck in argumentative or stagnant scenes. Students will learn how to replace conflict-for-conflict’s-sake with providing clear gifts to scene partners, make defined agreements that establish shared reality, and introduce direction that moves the scene forward with purpose. Through exercises and scene work, performers will practice listening deeply, responding generously, and turning potential arguments into collaborative exploration. The result is more connected relationships, clearer stakes, and scenes that evolve instead of escalate.
Drop-In Classes Signup Policy: You must signup on Eventbrite! Drop-in classes are "pay what you will" with a recommended donation of $15. You must sign up prior to 7pm on the Thursday before the class. In this case, 2/5 by 7pm. We may extend the sale AFTER that time if we have enough signed up to run the class, so don't wait to sign up! If you show up without signing up on Eventbrite, you will be asked to do so on site or will be turned away.
