On September 17th, Jennifer Busa, Public Programs Coordinator at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, will make a PowerPoint presentation entitled "That's Weird." She will explore some of the CMC&H's strangest items, such as Hair Jewelry or Creepy Puppets or a Corpse Preserver. You will learn how even the oddest items can be gateways into a deeper understanding and appreciation of our state's history.
If you possess anything that seems strange or weird, bring it to the meeting for possible identification.
The quarterly business meeting starts at 7:00PM with the presentation to immediately follow.
Location: VFW Post 591 @ 23 Prince Street with parking on the street or in the lot.
Light refreshments after the meetings.
