Where Humans Become Whos!
For five years, something magical has happened in Dundee Park on the day of the Andover Santa Parade…
For one extraordinary day, MODE Andover transforms into Who’s Who Beauty Parlor, Whobilation Hall opens its doors, and children are invited to step inside the story and become official citizens of Whoville.
Whobilation isn’t simply a holiday party, character meet-and-greet or collection of Christmas activities. It’s an immersive holiday experience where children arrive as themselves, undergo an incredible Who transformation, interact with the citizens of Whoville and become part of the biggest celebration of the year.
Designed for boys and girls, Whobilation is especially magical for children approximately ages 4–9.
✨ YOUR TRANSFORMATION BEGINS AT WHO’S WHO BEAUTY PARLOR
Every new citizen of Whoville needs to look the part.
Inside Who’s Who Beauty Parlor at MODE Andover, our team of professional stylists and Whoville transformation experts gets to work.
Children make their way through festive hairstyling, makeup, glitter, face transfers and whimsical finishing touches. They’ll also choose from Who-inspired costumes and accessories to complete their new Whoville identity — with special pieces they’ll get to take home.
By the time they leave the Beauty Parlor, the human who walked through the door has officially become a Who.
Feeling a little more Grinch than Who? Our Grinchification Station has those wonderfully mischievous children covered, too.
🎭 STEP INSIDE WHOBILATION HALL
Transformation complete, your family will step inside Whobilation Hall, where the story gets even bigger.
Whoville’s residents aren’t simply standing around waiting for photographs. Our interactive character experience unfolds throughout the event, with live characters, theatrical moments, spontaneous interactions and surprises that invite children to actually participate in the world around them.
They’re not just visiting Whoville.
For the day, they’re part of it.
📸 MEET — AND BE PHOTOGRAPHED WITH — THE GRINCH
Of course, no trip to Whoville would be complete without an encounter with its most infamous resident.
Our Grinch isn’t simply someone in a holiday costume. Whobilation features a professional character performer bringing the Grinch to life through theatrical, interactive character work — creating the kind of larger-than-life encounter children might expect from a major theme-park character experience.
And after all that work transforming into a Who, we want you to remember it.
Each child will have the opportunity for a professional photo with the Grinch while their Who hair, makeup, costume and accessories are looking their Whoville best — creating a pretty spectacular holiday keepsake for parents, too.
🎬 TAKE A BREAK AT THE WHOVIE THEATER
After exploring Whobilation Hall, settle in for a little piece of Whoville history.
Our Whovie Theater will be showing the beloved 20-minute 1969 animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas — perfect for a quick cozy break before heading back out to explore.
Then it’s back into Whobilation Hall for characters, live music, cocoa, snacks, activities and whatever Whoville surprises you happen to encounter along the way.
🫧 CREATE YOUR BACK-TO-HUMAN BATH POTION
There’s just one small problem with becoming a Who…
Eventually you have to go home.
At our new Bubble Bath Workshop, children will create their own Back-to-Human Bath Potion — a custom bubble bath concoction designed to reverse their Who transformation when their adventure is over.
They’ll mix and customize their potion, bottle it up and take it home as part of their Whobilation story.
Because even Whoville magic needs an exit plan. ✨
☕ AND THERE’S EVEN MORE TO DISCOVER
Throughout the experience, families will discover an over-the-top Hot Cocoa Bar, snacks and holiday treats, live music and holiday entertainment, crafts and creative activities, photo moments, interactive characters and little pieces of Whoville magic tucked throughout the event.
Families can also take their chances on our Whobilation raffles, benefiting the Andover Firefighters Relief Association.
And then comes the finale…
🎅 FROM WHOBILATION TO THE ANDOVER SANTA PARADE
Whobilation is intentionally held on the morning of the Andover Santa Parade, so the celebration doesn’t have to end when you leave Whobilation Hall.
Families attend Whobilation in staggered arrival groups, giving each group time to move through their transformation and explore the experience before the 1:00 PM Andover Santa Parade.
Whobilation families may leave their cars parked in our Dundee Park lot at no additional charge and walk right up the hill to find a spot along the parade route — making it easy to turn Whobilation into an entire day of holiday magic without moving the car.
And for 15 very lucky Whos, there’s another way to experience the parade.
Our limited VIP Float Rider and Founding Who tickets include a reserved spot aboard the Whobilation float, where newly transformed Whos become part of the spectacle themselves and ride through Andover in the Santa Parade.
For those kids, the story doesn’t end with watching the parade.
They become part of it.

What began as a small holiday event inside MODE Andover has grown into a beloved community tradition powered by more than 35 volunteers, local performers, musicians, artists, businesses and community partners.
For our fifth anniversary, we made an important decision:
We didn’t want to make Whobilation bigger. We wanted to make it deeper.
Rather than simply selling more tickets, we’re keeping attendance intentionally limited and investing in a richer, more immersive experience — expanded characters, storytelling, theatrical moments, transformations and thoughtful details that make children feel as though they’ve actually stepped inside the story.
Whether this is your first Whobilation or your fifth, we invite your family to become part of five years of transformation, imagination, community and wonderfully ridiculous holiday magic.

❤️ A little note from Whoville: To keep the experience magical, comfortable and uncrowded for our little Whos, we kindly ask families to limit attendance to one grown-up per child whenever possible. Due to space and guest flow, strollers cannot be accommodated inside Whobilation.
