Who Am I? What is my true potential?

Many of us suffer from lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem – completely unaware of the extraordinary potential that exists within each of us.

What is our “true potential”? It is our potential for the permanent peace of liberation and enlightenment – which is the limitless potential for peace, love, compassion, kindness, and happiness. Our essential nature is indestructible and eternal. It is the ground in which we need to root our sense of self in order to flourish.

If we are to develop ourselves and our potential, then we need to identify ourselves correctly. As the above quotation indicates, normally, we misidentify who we are. Fortunately, in Buddha’s teachings, we can find clear answers to the question – “Who am I, and what is my potential?”

Through identifying and meditating on the correct nature of the self, we will discover our extraordinary potential, whilst at the same time, eliminating many of our usual problems

During this series of classes, James Baskerville will explain and guide meditations on how we can start to recognise and eventually realise the potential for love, compassion and wisdom inside our hearts so that we can improve ourself as a person, develop authentic confidence and benefit others.

Sessions last for an hour. They are suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience of meditation. Classes can be attended on a drop-in basis and each class is self contained. Light refreshments will be served before or after the class
