Who All Gon Be There: Intro to Improv
About this Event
Whether you've never stepped on stage before or you're looking to rediscover a passion for performing, this class will teach core improv skills including "Yes, And," active listening, commitment, teamwork, and trusting your instincts—all in a supportive space curated by Black people. This class is a great way to curb social anxiety, meet new friends and have fun. Payment Plans are accepted (Select week one payment option at check out. The remainder will be due in $38.00 increments at the begining of each class totaling $150 plus processing fees). Recommended age 15 & up as the class may contain adult language and subject matter.
The class is taught by Jazz Lewis & Yazmin Monet Watkins, the hosts of Who All Gon Be There? and performers at the Upright Citizen Birgade, With years of improv performance and teaching experience, Jazz and Yaz create an encouraging space where individuals can grow, take risks, and find their unique comedic voice in a group of like-minded people.
