We are excited to officially announce our VBS summer daycamp for 2026: Snowball Mountain Challenge! VBS returns this summer from Monday, July 20th - Thursday, July 23rd, and all are welcome to join us for a free, fun and faith filled week at camp!This years VBS will follow a new schedule for our daycamp, beginning at 9am and running until noon for pre-k students, and until 2pm in the afternoon for K-6th graders. Lunch is provided each day, and every student who attends gets their own VBS t-shirt!
This year's theme from Cokesbury is Snowball Mountain Challenge, a fun twist on VBS themes. Our camp this years calls for a cold forecast, and the church will be decorated like a winter wonderland mountain to welcome students to a world of fun & wonder! Students will learn at VBS how God strengthens them to do awesome things in their communities & the world!
Every day of VBS WHLC partners with a local community org! Our goal is to empower students to see how they can serve others every day. Groups we've worked with in years past include Puppy Jake, Blank Park Zoo, Ronald McDonald House & more.
VBS is open to student in pre-k (must be restroom trained) through those entering 6th grade in the fall. Students in 7th grade and up are welcome to join us as volunteers. VBS is a ton of fun to help out with, has lots of perks, and is a great way to fill silver cord hours.
