Come and enjoy a sublime bank holiday afternoons of tango with the late afternoon sun streaming through the stained glass windows of the gorgeous Beeston Parish Church.The teacher for the group drop in class at 2pm will Lucas Gastiarena. Lucas was born and raised in Argentina where his mother and grandfather sang and danced tango and this culture was a big part of his life as a child. Later, as a musician, he studied classical guitar and piano, as well various dance forms.
In Buenos Aires he danced tango for almost twenty years and graduated with a history degree, and he is now living in Sheffield where he is studding a PhD exploring Argentinean artistic expressions in the first half of the 20th century.
There will also be the buffet which is usually very very popular and on a first come first served basis from 3pm so you will need to be there earlier rather than later if want a taster. It will be on a seasonal and salad theme.

The church is 3 miles from J25 of the M1 and there is lots of free parking close by including municipal car parks which are free on bank holidays. It is also walking distance from the Beeston Railway Station which is on the main London mainline and also next to a tram stop which goes all the way to Nottingham Railway Station.
