In celebration of Black History Month, the Black Author Business Expo will highlight Whitney Library’s Independent Author Collection. Authors from Las Vegas and across the country will showcase their works, particularly highlighting authors of color. This event will offer the community an opportunity to meet and support these authors, learn about their works, and engage in important discussions around diverse storytelling. The event will include author vendor tables in the art gallery and conference room, author talks, an open panel discussion in the concert hall, and special story times in the Youth Services area.Free and open to the public, seating is first-come, first-served.
