Whitewater Strength & Conditioning Clinic

This clinic is open to anyone 18 years and older who spends time on the river or wants to build strength and mobility for boating. While everyone is welcome, some workouts and skill demonstrations will focus on movements especially useful for women in whitewater—such as developing the strength needed to pull yourself back into a boat.

Whether you're new to boating or a seasoned river runner, you'll gain practical training tips, hands-on coaching, and techniques to help you move better and stay strong on the river. Participants should be comfortable performing a few basic bodyweight movements, including air squats, knee push-ups, and hanging from a pull-up bar.

This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Fúrias Del Ríos raft racing team as we prepare to compete throughout the 2026 season, including the USRA National Championship. We kindly ask participants to consider a suggested donation of $25 to support the team’s travel, training, and race expenses.

Please plan to wear comfortable workout clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes.
