This is a part social, part instructional event for kayakers or canoeists with previous experience paddling on at least class 2. (You can control your boat in current and avoid hazards)You'll connect with other paddlers and take your skills to the next level through sharing and coaching from experienced instructors and other paddlers.
We'll have our choice of area rivers including the wild and scenic Wolf River near Langlade WI, as well as the Peshtigo, Oconto, and other local waterways depending upon water levels and interests. Each day we'll split into groups based on goals, comfort, and safety.
Lodging will be at Scout Camp Gardner Dam, with heated bunkhouse and camping options for those who prefer sleeping outside. Kitchens & showers provided. Having this heated space allows us to hang out, warm up and dry our gear!
