Whitestown Battle of the Badges 5K 2026

Lace-up your running (or walking) shoes 👟 for the fifth-annual Battle of the Badges 5️⃣K, on Saturday, October 3 🍂, presented by First Due Company. This family-friendly event features a fun competition between the Whitestown Fire 🚒 and Police 🚓 Departments. Choose which team you will support when you register and let the battle begin! The department with the most signups will receive the coveted Battle of the Badges trophy 🏆. It is not required to be a first responder to join our 5k, all are welcome at this event. 🎉
The race kicks off at 8am at 121 Hull Street in Whitestown’s Legacy Core. The route this year will feature Whitestown’s Legacy Core and the Big 4 Trail 🏃‍♀️.
A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Boone County Cancer Society in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
