White Screens: Tales of a Coffee Shop Novelist
About this Event
One person (name and pronouns...loading??) one coffee shop, one year to get it all together, one novel with a word count perpetually in the single digits. One hundred percent chance of success... right?
When our nameless and gender-confused protagonist loses it all, (again,) their parents give them one year to get their life together and find a steady job. Naturally, they spend it on their newly rediscovered dream of writing the great Canadian novel from their local coffee shop. When a handsome stranger begins frequenting said coffee shop too, they declare him their new "love interest." Unfortunately, the problems that keep them in stasis don't end at the cafe doors. Will our hero write the next great Canadian novel, unravel their identity, and find true love, or are they doomed to be forever stuck on page one?
