Join us and walk together from WHAG to RCT then to Rochdale Town Hall to bring awareness to violence against women and girls.
About this Event

Join us and build a community of gender equality.

Walk together from WHAG to RCT then to the Town Hall; anyone is welcome!

Wear orange or a white ribbon and bring along flags and banners to the procession as we deliver messages to GMP explaining what women and girls need to feel safe.

We will start at WHAG at 185 Drake Street then walk down past Early Break, RCT, and Sanctuary Trust before heading towards the Town Hall. If any organisations would like to join, you are more than welcome. We would particularly like to see males in attendance as allies against male violence against women and girls.

We would love as many people to join us as possible. You are welcome to meet at WHAG or RCT. Those with mobility issues may benefit from meeting at RCT as a starting point. Alternativey, those who prefer a shorter walk, can meet us directly at the Town Hall around 12.30pm.

We have kindly been offered to use the upstairs of the Flying Horse afterwards for tea, coffee and cake.
