Content of workshop
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold. The "flaw" is seen as a unique piece which adds to its beauty. Participants are welcome to create their own piece of art by putting together broken objects using gold glue. The message to take away from this workshop is a reminder that, 'you may feel broken now, but can repair and heal in your own unique and beautiful way'.
The workshop also encourages participants to write empowering messages on ribbons which will be displayed on the day.
