PARKING
There is complimentary parking on-site, located across the street from the J.P. Wiser’s Experience centre at the intersection of Riverside Drive & Montreuil Avenue.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
The event will run rain or shine. The event has both indoor and outdoor activities.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be honoured if request to cancel is made 48 hours prior to the start time of your ticket.
CHILDREN & PETS
The J.P. Wiser’s Experience grounds are restricted to those of Legal Drinking Age in Ontario 19+. Pets are not permitted on site . Service animals are welcome in general admission areas; however, due to production requirements, they cannot enter the Distillery or Pike Creek Warehouse.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Food trucks will be on-site for purchase. Light snacks (pretzels, crackers) will be available to accompany tastings. Whisky tastings flights, mixed drinks, cocktails featuring spirits brands proudly made at Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery will be available for purchase. Outside food & beverage is not permitted.
PURCHASES
Our retail storefront is a cashless transactions retail space. Food trucks may accept cash, credit, debit.
CANCELLATIONS / BOOKING ADJUSTMENTS
Requested changes to a Ticketed event may be honoured, subject to availability. Cancellations for refund may be honoured if made 48 hours prior to start time of event.
WALK-INS
General Admission tickets will be available for walk-ins subject to availability. Very limited Distillery Tour tickets will be available the day of the event. All other ticketed events require pre-booking and are subject to availability.
ACCESSIBILITY
The J.P. Wiser’s Experience building is accessible.
Our Distillery Tours building is not accessible. Guests requiring wheelchair access or requiring assistive mobility devices will not be able to access this portion of Whisky Weekend.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Cell-phone & Camera Photography is permitted on-site, but may be restricted during certain areas of tour activities.
Please note that photography and videography will take place during this event. By attending, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or filmed, and that this content may be used for external communications, marketing and promotional purposes.
DRESS-CODE
Casual, comfortable dress is recommended. Closed-Toed, covered footwear is required (no sandals or heels) for any tour activities.
BOTTLE PURCHASES & ENGRAVED BOTTLES
Bottles purchases at the retail storefront may not be opened for consumption on-site.
Custom bottle engravings take 3-4 days to complete, can be made available for pick-up the following week or shipped to qualifying addresses in Ontario.
REGISTRATION
All guests will be required to check-in at Registration upon arrival. We recommend arriving a minimum of 20 minutes prior to the start of any booked activity. Please bring a valid government-issued photo identification to verify Legal Drinking Age. A signed waiver will be required for Tour and some Tasting Activities.
SMOKING
Our Distillery Site and all grounds are a Smoke-Free area. For the safety of our employees and guests, use of cigarettes, vape pens, e-cigarettes are strictly limited to designated areas that guests can be directed to while on-site.
