Whisky Tasting | The Best New Whiskies of 2026 (So Far ...)

Join us and taste some of the best new whiskies that have been released this year to date, from traditional Scotch to craft distillers.

Hosted by Matt Chambers - whisky and spirits writer, influencer and presenter, and co-founder of North London Whisky Club and Whisky For Everyone website.

We will be sampling five delicious whiskies that have all been released in 2026, which have been hand selected by us. This will give the chance to taste whiskies that you may not have seen or heard of. We will sample everything from traditional Scotch to whiskies from some of the best craft distillers in the UK.

Matt will guide you through each whisky and explain about each brand or distillery, plus other key factors. Questions are welcomed and encouraged.

The tasting will take place at The Winchester, a fabulous pub on Archway Road, N6. This is just five minutes walk from Highgate underground station (Northern Line / High Barnet branch) and 10 minutes walk from Archway underground station (also Northern Line / High Barnet branch). Several local bus routes also stop very close to the pub - 43, 134 & 234.

The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Please feel free to arrive early for a pre-tasting drink or some food. They have a great selection of beers, a good wine list and a classic pub menu.

No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.

All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly and consume plenty of water.

Strictly over 18s only. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look close to that age.
