Whiskey Tasting Saturday - Sept 26th - Five Regions of Scotland! - 3~5PM
Five Regions of Scotland

Then as new distilleries opened in the same area, they would be using many of the same sources for their water, barley and heating sources. Once transportation improved regional style was less important, but having already built a reputation for the brand's taste there was little reason to stray too far from what their customers were used to. Also, blending houses which were Distillers bulk buyers wanted consistency to allow their Blended brands to taste the same too.
