Whiskey Romance at Cara Mia Books: A Rumors & Whiskey Launch Celebration

This June, we’re turning up the heat as we celebrate one of our own — Sam Balin — and the opening of her sultry new sanctuary for readers, Cara Mia Books & Coffee.

Our Saturday adventure begins next door at Copper Cat Distillery, where we’ll ease into the afternoon with a handcrafted cocktail, a tasting flight, and light bites. From there, we’ll wander together to Cara Mia, Woodinville’s newest literary haven, a candlelit, dark‑romance‑inspired refuge nestled among the wineries. Curated for readers who crave stories with shadow, spice, and romance, Cara Mia is a curated third place built for lingering, dreaming, and getting lost between the pages.

This will be Cara Mia’s very first event, and we’re dedicating the afternoon to celebrating Victoria Wilder’s hotly anticipated debut in The Whiskey Women series: Rumors & Whiskey — a scorching, suspenseful contemporary romance steeped in secrets, second chances, and the kind of love that burns hotter than a barrel‑strength pour. Set in Rumor, Tennessee, where the Crowne women stand at the center of every whispered scandal, it’s the perfect pairing for our sisterhood that knows its way around a glass.
