Hot Jazz meets the 21st century with the Whirlybirds!
Blending modern influences with classic jazz songs, the popular Columbus based quartet has been engaging audiences since 2016 with tight three-part harmonies, virtuosic technique, polished arrangements, and fun. From classic trad jazz standards to original compositions, the Whirlybirds create a sound that will make you think you're hearing the "Great American Song Book" for the first time. From the jazz club to the dance floor, Whirlybirds are sure to knock your socks off! So bring your dancing shoes!
The Band: Joe Gilliland (guitar/vocals), Seth Daily (drums), Trent Sampson (bass/vocals), and Joseph Brenneman (reeds/vocals.)
Alcohol is BYOB plus hotdogs, soup, hot entrees, dessert, packaged snacks, and other beverages available to purchase.
Tickets sold at the door. Admission is $20 for the general public, $15 for COHJS members and SwingColumbus dancers, $10 for students, Music educators and students admitted free. (More info COHJS.org)

Join SwingColumbus instructors to explore Partner Charleston, a great dance to get you ready to enjoy the dance upstairs at 2:30.
