Whips & Scrolls – Ceroc Workshop
This 3-hour Ceroc workshop is a deep dive into 'whips' and 'scrolls' for intermediate dancers and above. The aim is to master whip technique and scroll movements, focusing on how we use opposition, footwork and momentum to lead or follow these these moves effortlessly.
Led by Ceroc’s Jordan and Shannon, the workshop runs in a small, relaxed learning environment with plenty of time to learn, practice, refine, and ask questions.
What you'll learn:
- A selection of whip and scroll moves of varying difficulty
- Clear leading and following instruction for whips and scrolls
- Connection, timing, footwork and momentum amongst other techniques
- Managing energy so movements feel smooth and controlled
- Linking into whips and scrolls naturally
What to expect:
- A 3-hour workshop with plenty of comfort breaks
- Calm, supportive teaching focused on usable technique and moves
- Small group learning with individual feedback
Hot drinks, squash, biscuits, and light snacks will be provided throughout. There is a small car park on site as well as street parking on surrounding roads.
Workshop is £15pp or £25 for a gender/role balanced couple.
[This workshop is not suitable for beginners and is aimed at dancers who are comfortable learning at intermediate level or above. Please note, this workshop is a rotational workshop so please let us know if you would prefer to fix]
