Welcome to our weekender where we go all out! Whip-ma is a three-day celebration of swing dance where we host lessons, social dances and discussions.
With three streams and three socials, despite being named after York's (and the UK's, supposedly) shortest street, this weekend is certainly not as small as its namesake...
Now in our eleventh year, we start on Friday with a social dance and a fun blues taster to get everyone warmed up for the weekend.
Saturday is packed with lessons before the Big Saturday Social! Expect '20s glitz and glam, a live big band, and a DJ'd blues afterparty.
Sunday is packed with tasters - including the option for Beginner Aerials taught by York's Richard and Kat - before a community discussion group and finally finishing the weekend with a Tea Dance!
