The Whimsical Woods is the creation of dedicated Faust Park Staff and St. Louis County Parks Forestry Staff. It is a great new space for you and your family to experience nature, whimsy and have some FUN! Join Park Rangers for a Fairy House Building Workshop! Kiddos and families will build and decorate Fairy Houses that will be placed in our Whimsical Woods!
This program is FREE, but registration is required to ensure there are enough supplies available. Each fairy house built will be made from a "kit" comprising of natural items from the park. Parents/guardians should reserve one kit per every 1-2 children. The ideal age for this program is children between 5-10 years old, however, we can work with each family to scale the project appropriately. Families will not be permitted to take their fairy house with them at the end of the program.
