Synopsis:
Johnny had the ultimate Christmas proposal planned. Becca had other plans—like moving out of town and out of his life.
Months later, Johnny is stuck on repeat, haunting the corner where they said goodbye while his brother Josh tries every trick in the book to drag him out of his funk. Nothing works. Until Dani marches up to him at the local lake, tells him he’s taking her out tonight, and walks off before he can even blink.
Pulled into Dani’s orbit of charming unpredictability, Johnny gradually begins to thaw, rediscovering laughter through chaotic family moments with Aunt Tess and the comedic sanity checks only a brother like Josh can deliver. But just as Dani’s eccentric warmth helps him rebuild his world, Becca walks back into his life. Caught between the ghost of a future he still too afraid to let go and the messy, vibrant life right in front of him, Johnny is forced to confront the deeper wounds in his heart—and decide whether he's ready to stop grieving the past and risk loving again.
