Runners, walkers, wildlife enthusiasts, families, and nature lovers of all kinds - this is your race. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or simply want to make a difference, the Where the Wild Things Run 5K welcomes everyone to support the lifesaving work of the South Florida Wildlife Center.
Because every stride saves lives.
Each year, the South Florida Wildlife Center admits over 8,000 animals - from injured birds of prey to orphaned mammals and native reptiles - all in urgent need of care. These animals arrive sick, injured, or alone… and this is where their second chance begins.
Your race registration directly supports:
- Emergency rescue and critical medical treatment
- Rehabilitation and release back into the wild
- Care for our education ambassadors who inspire thousands each year
Quite simply: you run, they recover.
