Nature-based play is essential to children’s physical and emotional well-being. At Where the Wild Things Play, children explore natural environments alongside their peers under thoughtful, light-touch supervision that fosters independence and confidence. While they immerse themselves in hands-on discovery, parents and guardians are invited to join a ranger-led hike—an opportunity to explore, or rediscover, the wonders of nature for themselves. This free program is for ages 6-11. Pre-registration is required.
