CitySingers of Hartford will present “Where the Stars Meet” - a winter choral concert that celebrates the night sky’s celestial beauty and mystery at 4 pm on Saturday, December 6 at South Congregational Church in East Hartford and Saturday, December 13 at West Hartford United Methodist Church.Songs will explore our connection to the Zodiac constellations and our composition of cosmic matter. The concert program features works by living composers including Ysaye Barnwell, Ēriks Ešenvalds, and Jake Runestad among others.
Established in 1982, CitySingers is a community choir that strives to innovate the classical concert experience by performing new and old works from composers of all different backgrounds, engaging with local musicians and blending theatrical elements in seasonal concerts.
