Each of us carries wounds that whisper of who we once were — and of who we are becoming.

In this 90-minute workshop, we explore how the heart, when witnessed with awareness, becomes not the site of pain but the gateway of illumination.

Guided by Mohamad Tabbaa, Criminologist and PhD Scholar, this session offers a contemplative and embodied journey into the meaning of Rumi’s famous verse and the Qur’anic reminder:

“It is not the eyes that go blind, but the hearts in the chest.” — (Q 22:46)

Through gentle teaching, movement, and reflection, we will learn to meet our wounds not with fear but with presence, transforming heaviness into light and loss into remembrance.

1️⃣ Conceptual Framework
An introduction to the Sufi understanding of the heart — as mirror, vessel, and site of Divine encounter. We’ll explore how wounds become pathways for light, integrating insights from spiritual psychology and embodied healing.

2️⃣ Embodiment Practice
A guided experience to help participants connect with the heart space — through breathwork, journalling, or still awareness — inviting the light of consciousness into the hidden corners of the self.

3️⃣ Collective Reflection & Q&A
An open dialogue to share insights, ask questions, and root the teachings within the lived experiences of the group.

This workshop welcomes seekers, healers, and anyone journeying through grief, change, or awakening. No prior experience is needed — only a willingness to listen, feel, and remember.
