WHERE NOW FOR THE LEFT?

Since Keir Starmer took control of the Labour Party and set about expelling or driving out anyone calling themselves a socialist, over 200,000 members have left the party.

They have joined the many thousands of socialists who have never been Labour members in wondering how best they can now support the socialist project and the policies all of us believe in. This public meeting is an opportunity to consider some of the most popular options – our four experienced and committed speakers will propose:

· Setting up a new party of the left

· Joining the Greens – the party with the most left wing policies

· Sticking with/rejoining Labour and fighting for left policies

· Concentrating on community organising/networking

There will be lots of opportunity for discussion and debate – and all voices will be heard respectfully.
